My passion for cultural exploration and cooking started as a child and was fostered by my father who introduced me to both. This interest led me to a career in the culinary arts starting with a degree from Le Cordon Bleu, then with the Seattle restaurant scene and eventually becoming a private chef. 


While my travels started as a teen I didn't brand out internationally since my early 20's.  I have always been drawn to the sights, tastes and smells of each destination.  I love to wander the local food markets, chat up the vendors and nibble my way through the food stalls.  It's just something that I always a language I understood and it connected me to to the place and people in a unique way.


Anthony Bourdain sums it up for me.

"Food is everything we are. It’s an extension of nationalist feeling, ethnic feeling, your personal history, your province, your region, your tribe, your grandma. It’s inseparable from those from the get-go."

I’m lucky enough to have flown well over a million miles during my adult life. Seeing so much of the world has given me an adventurous spirit and a curious mind. My head and heart are full of remarkable experiences from Boston to Brussels to Bangkok and Bangladesh. 


While I’ve been able to roam all over the US, often to fly fish, most of my travel has been Asia & Europe focused. I believe that the breadth of my travel will allow me to create rich and seamless travel experiences for you.


Together we can plan a short family getaway to a single destination or a complex trip that covers multiple destinations via multiple modes of transport with a larger group of diverse ages and backgrounds. Travel is so beautifully varied, and there is a trip for every season and every reason.
